Job summary

Benchmark Education Company is seeking an Educational Sales Consultant in Texas for a remote, full-time position. You will develop strategic plans, respond to customer needs, prospect new school accounts, and manage the territory using CRM to track opportunities, contacts, and outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Education or English or related field and 3–5 years of sales experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English or related.
• Three to five years of sales experience in a high-volume, fast-paced company.
• A quick learner, able to multi-task, highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or surpass sales goals for territory within expense guidelines.
• Develop strategic plans to identify opportunities for supplemental and core sales and to win the business.
• Manage the territory by using CRM effectively to enter and track opportunities, contacts, cuts, wins, and losses.
• Generate quotes and provide support for proposals including reviewing and evaluating RFPs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products (print and digital) and present to various settings.
• Demonstrate competitive knowledge to position and win.
• Coordinate product training with customers and PD staff as needed.
• Plan and implement invitations/presentations; attend local, national, and regional exhibits.
• Follow up on leads and review marketing materials.
