Washington County in Wisconsin is seeking an Economic Support Manager to oversee the county's Economic Support programs and operations. Reporting to the Human Services Assistant Director, you will lead staff responsible for determining eligibility for federal and state public assistance, ensuring timely, accurate service delivery in line with laws and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration or related field and five years of experience working with Economic Support programs.
• Two years of post-high school education, 5 years' experience working with Economic Support programs AND two years of supervisory experience.
• Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and administration of the Economic Support programs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, Department of Health Services policies, county procedures, and program requirements.
• Interpret and implement changes in state and federal policies, regulations, and program requirements.
• Develop, review, and maintain local policies, procedures, and workflows to promote consistent and accurate program administration.
• Monitor program performance, processing timeliness, eligibility accuracy, and compliance with established performance standards.
