Job summary

Sauk County is seeking an Economic Support Resource Specialist to join the Department of Human Services. This role collects applicant data to determine eligibility for County, State, and Federal Economic Support programs.

It features serving the community, maintaining current program knowledge, and supporting Economic Support staff. Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 7:45 am–4:30 pm, with accommodations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year general office experience.
• Any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide Economic Support Lobby and Intake services at Sauk County Department of Human Services.
• Answer questions regarding income maintenance programs (BadgerCare Plus, Medical Assistance, Child Care, FoodShare Wisconsin, FSET).
• Assist Economic Support staff to manage workloads and gather client data and documents.
• Scan documents/verifications and manage ECF/CDPU records.
• Interpret eligibility requirements while handling crisis situations.
• Schedule appointments and interviews for Economic Support staff.
