Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) is seeking a Project Manager to represent the Southern Indiana Region, manage IEDC projects, and negotiate deals to attract jobs for Hoosiers. The role emphasizes building partnerships with state and local stakeholders and driving regional economic growth.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to travel frequently within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience in Economic Development, Community Development, Urban Planning, Real Estate Sales/Development, Sales/Business Development, or core industries.
• 1–3 years of experience in economic development or related field preferred.
• International Business Development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and negotiate competitive expansion and business attraction projects within assigned regions.
• Build and maintain relationships with economic development partners in the State, especially Southern Indiana.
• Visit local businesses and stakeholders to assess needs and communicate program requirements.
• Monitor regional activities and report items of interest to IEDC leadership.
• Attend conferences and meetings on business development and economic development matters.
