The Indiana Economic Development Corporation invites a Project Manager for the Northern Region to serve as the key regional representative for select counties in Northern Indiana, overseeing economic development projects with a focus on business negotiation and stakeholder relationship-building.

You will attract new companies, help expand existing businesses, monitor regional activity, and provide technical assistance to identify suitable IEDC programs for business attraction and expansion

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience in relevant field.
  • Experience with deal negotiation and economic development/site selection preferred.
  • 1-3 years in economic development or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of Indiana core industries including aerospace, manufacturing, life sciences, logistics, and IT.
  • Ability to negotiate complex business transactions and travel frequently in Northern Indiana.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills with proficiency in CRM databases and Microsoft Office.
