Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Engineering or related area minimum
• Experience: 5 years' progressive economic development experience in community and industrial relations, communications and/or marketing minimum

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and implementation of industrial and large commercial recruitment and site development programs, and retention/expansion initiatives
• Represents member systems in proposals for service and collaborates with officials, builders, brokers and utilities
• Promotes, negotiates and provides logistical support to develop sites ready for timely industry location
• Identifies prospective sites and coordinates infrastructure, financing and community programs
• Coordinates data collection, mapping, brochures and related materials
• Conducts research into new economic development techniques and technologies
• Provides training presentations and consultative support to General Managers and staff
• Performs other duties as assigned
