Job summary

Baseten is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support our CTO and Head of Engineering. This role is highly operational, owning the day-to-day operating rhythm of the Engineering organization and ensuring leaders are prepared, priorities stay coordinated, and critical meetings and follow-ups happen seamlessly.

You will partner with senior engineering leaders and act as a trusted coordinator for employees, customers, candidates, and external partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting senior Engineering leaders in a high-growth technology company.
• Experience supporting engineering operating rhythms, technical planning cycles, and fast-moving product development teams.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities without dropping details.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with strong judgment about when and how to communicate for executives.

Responsibilities

• Own complex calendar management for the CTO and Head of Engineering, balancing shifting priorities and intentional time use.
• Coordinate domestic and international travel, agendas, materials, context, logistics, and follow-ups for leadership meetings and cross-functional forums.
• Manage executive inboxes, triage requests, prioritize communications, and ensure timely follow-up.
• Support forward-looking calendar planning, including roadmap planning, leadership meetings, P0 reviews, Engineering All Hands, and other cross-functional forums.
• Own the operational cadence of the Engineering organization, including weekly leadership meetings, monthly Show & Tells, Engineering All Hands, and roadmap planning.
• Support the CTO and Head of Engineering in delivering an exceptional candidate and new hire experience during onsite interviews and onboarding.
