Job summary

ARServices is seeking a Budget Analyst to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) NT Directorate at Fort Belvoir, VA. The role focuses on PPBE documentation, budget execution, and financial analysis to drive mission‑critical national security programs.

The successful candidate will develop spend plans, track obligations, and maintain Power BI dashboards, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and clear communication to senior government officials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field; and/or 5+ years of experience managing projects and financials (DTRA RD experience preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis and management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing budget execution, spend plans, and burn rate processes.
• Familiarity with DoD policies and regulations (FMR, FAR, OMB Circular A-123).

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and preparation of PPBE, POM, and BES documentation.
• Develop annual spend plans and budget justification documents.
• Monitor obligations and expenditures for division and department.
• Prepare financial reports and dashboards.
• Track and resolve ULOs and URRs.
• Assist with procurement packages and contract awards.
• Maintain and improve Power BI dashboards.
• Report on project and portfolio financial performance to leadership.
