Job summary

The Salvation Army Intermountain Division seeks a Divisional Property Director to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of its broad real estate portfolio across Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, and Utah. You will lead the Property Department, guide capital projects, ensure compliance, and manage contracts, budgets, and reporting with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, real estate, facilities management, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in property, facilities, construction, contracts, or project management; supervisory experience preferred.
• Master's degree in business or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise Property Department, contracts, facilities, maintenance, custodial, mail, reception, and other personnel; set priorities.
• Oversee departmental projects, ensure reports, records, and approvals are accurate and timely.
• Collaborate with the Divisional Secretary for Business on property, contract, facilities, and project matters; inform leadership of trends and risks.
• Lead strategic management, stewardship, and disposition of divisional real estate assets.
• Serve as primary property contact for Corps Officers, field units, and divisional departments.
• Manage contracts, purchases, leases, tax-exempt applications, and property project approvals.
• Maintain divisional master property files and electronic/physical repositories.
• Oversee capital improvement, renovation, construction, and maintenance projects.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and field representatives; review drawings for alignment.
• Attend meetings and perform owner representative duties for major projects.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, invoices, and change orders; provide status reports to leadership.
