Job summary

UDR is seeking a Senior Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of communities in the United States. The role focuses on driving financial performance, occupancy, and operational excellence with emphasis on staff leadership and process optimization.

The position requires strategic planning, financial analysis, and strong communication. Travel to properties will be expected to ensure standards and execution align with company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 4–6 years of supervisory experience required, preferably in residential property management or related operations.
• 4–6 years of experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, business development, or operational management, preferably in real estate.
• OneSite or another site operating system experience required.
• Valid driver's license required unless otherwise noted.

Responsibilities

• Drive financial performance, increase controllable NOI, manage budgets, and identify revenue growth opportunities.
• Analyze market conditions and implement marketing strategies to achieve occupancy goals.
• Oversee daily community operations, policies, safety, compliance, and emergency procedures.
• Conduct weekly site inspections to maintain property standards, curb appeal, cleanliness, and market-ready homes.
• Resolve escalated resident concerns and implement retention programs to improve resident satisfaction.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop associates while managing performance, scheduling, time records, and staffing needs.
• Foster a motivated, engaged, and goal-oriented team aligned with company values.
• Prepare required reports, support business objectives, and perform other duties as assigned.
