Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager II to lead our distribution operations in Indiana. You will oversee daily warehouse activities, develop strategic processes, and drive safety, efficiency, and cost effectiveness across the site.

You will manage a leadership team, optimize use of WMS technology, handle vendor relations, analyze performance data, and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews to the client.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial or supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Experience in 3PL/Contract Logistics is preferred.
• Staff management is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping.
• Develop strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed.
• Utilize WMS and automation to track inventory and monitor performance.
• Manage vendor relationships and cost-effective services.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and key metrics.
• Lead customer relationships and maintain strong connections.
• Responsible for site P&L and present MBR/QBR to customers.
