Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business administration, higher education administration, or related field.
• Five years of full-time experience building partnerships with industry and developing market-responsive educational programs.
• Experience leading revenue-generating educational initiatives or business development efforts.
• Strong strategic planning, organizational leadership, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the university’s chief business development officer for employer-sponsored education and workforce development programs.
• Curate and develop policy frameworks to support successful partnerships and educational programs.
• Develop partnerships and programs to expand Stony Brook’s impact and revenue sources.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and program development for workforce and academic partnerships.
• Represent the university in external engagement activities with employers, professional organizations, and public-sector partners.
