Job summary

Fusion Academy is seeking a Director of Virtual Programs to lead strategy, development, and ongoing enhancement of specialty virtual offerings. You will oversee program design, academic models, and learner experiences, coordinating with Curriculum & Analytics and other teams to ensure high quality, scalable virtual learning.

The role requires a strong background in curriculum design, asynchronous learning, and leadership across cross-functional teams, with a focus on maintaining Fusion’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience leading strategy, roadmap, launch, and ongoing performance of educational programs.
• Experience designing, launching, scaling, or significantly improving virtual or asynchronous learning experiences.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous learning, pacing, independence, assessment, feedback, accessibility, engagement, and mastery.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, development, and continuous improvement of Fusion's specialty virtual programs.
• Translate portfolio strategy into academic requirements, priorities, milestones, and cross-functional decisions.
• Partner with multiple teams to define learning technology needs and ensure technology supports the academic model and learner experience.
• Drive pilots, implementation, launch, adoption, and post-launch improvements; manage handoffs and issue resolution.
• Communicate performance and recommendations to leaders and adjust roadmaps accordingly.
