Job summary

Arizona State University in Tempe seeks a collaborative, data-driven Program Director of Student Success Initiatives for the NSE grant. You will lead university-wide efforts to identify, implement, and scale innovative practices that advance undergraduate student success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in education student support or counseling.
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in student success or related area.
• Experience leading retention initiatives and student success strategy.
• Strong analytical, organizational and policy interpretation skills.
• Ability to plan, analyze, and coordinate activities and establish priorities.
• Proven leadership in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support NSE grant initiatives including accelerating projects to strengthen college cohesion.
• Facilitate cross-institutional planning to improve undergraduate student success practices.
• Act as strategic liaison between Provost Office and colleges/schools and support units.
• Lead and sustain data-informed efforts on student experience, advising, coaching, and retention workflows.
• Develop frameworks to assess effectiveness of student success initiatives.
• Build institutional capacity for data-informed decision-making and apply data to strategy.
• Promote student-centered practices and share best practices for outcomes.
• Translate findings into recommendations and tools for policy decisions.
• Identify promising practices to pilot or adapt for ASU's context.
