Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
• Knowledge of graduate education and advising.
• Experience with ASU technologies such as Salesforce, Peoplesoft, and AppXtender.

Responsibilities

• Advises students: meets with newly admitted and active students to advise degree requirements, coursework, steps, milestones, and paperwork.
• Supports student registration: responds to inquiries, processes course overrides and petitions.
• Processes Plan of Study (iPOS) approvals: works with students and faculty to create, review, and approve plans of study.
• Maintains records: maintains graduate program and student files and records.
• Interprets university policies to students, faculty, and staff.
