Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related area is required.
Master's degree in School Administration or related area is required.
NC Certification (Principal or Superintendent) preferred.
Minimum five years' experience as a building or district administrator is preferred.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
Lead, manage and supervise assigned programs/staff in the district.
Provide day-to-day support and supervision of PreK-12 schools assigned to the performance area.
Provide leadership and support for principals and assistant principals.
Serve as a facilitator in identifying and securing expertise and support services to principals, school based support staff and teachers to help them increase student achievement.
Collaborate cross-departmentally to discuss academic achievement, benchmarks and the performance area support needed to help schools reach desired academic goals.
