Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
  • Master’s degree in School Administration or related area required.
  • NC Certification preferred.
  • Minimum five years of district-level administrator experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise programs and staff in the district.
  • Provide day-to-day support for PreK-12 schools assigned to the performance area.
  • Coach principals and assistant principals.
  • Coordinate professional development aligned to SIP goals.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports to meet SIP targets.
  • Represent the district at district, state, and governmental functions.
