Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Boston is seeking a Director of Provider Compensation & Business Analytics to lead the development, oversight, and administration of the Medical Group’s provider compensation program. You will partner with senior leadership to budget, forecast, analyze market trends, design systems and reports, and deliver data-driven insights to shape compensation and productivity.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) and 8+ years of leadership in hospital

Qualifications

• Strong communication and analytical skills are required.
• Experience with provider compensation or healthcare finance is preferred.
• Proficiency in data analysis, benchmarking, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leadership on the development, design, and implementation of provider compensation plans across the Medical Group enterprise.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, communication of plan changes, benchmarking, and support for senior leadership on related issues.
• Design and oversee systems, processes, and tools, including databases and reports, that support the provider compensation program.
• Provide market data comparisons to medical and administrative leaders; oversee provider productivity analyses and benchmarking.
• Develop and prepare regular reports for key stakeholders, including senior leadership and providers.
• Support senior leadership with additional data and analysis as needed.
• Ensure alignment between provider compensation plan and strategic goals.
• Manage agenda for and contribute to the Provider Compensation Committee.
• Develop staff and manage Provider Compensation & Analytics team.
• Oversee administration of compensation plans, including leadership allocations and variable compensation.
