Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Boston seeks a Manager, Provider Compensation to lead all aspects of the compensation programs for the Medical Group. You will interact with providers and administrative leaders, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, data analysis, and communication of plan changes.

The role requires 5+ years of leadership in a hospital or health system, a Bachelor's degree, strong analytical and financial skills, and the ability to guide senior leaders on compensation strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in hospital, health system, or physician practice.
• Strong computer skills and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of provider compensation, including budgeting, forecasting, communication of plan changes, benchmarking, and support for Senior Leadership on related issues.
• Lead the effort to provide market and internal compensation comparison data to medical and administrative leaders; partner with provider recruiting.
• Support Senior Leadership in Primary and Specialty Care with additional data/analysis as needed.
• Manage provider productivity analytics and benchmarking.
• Develop and manage process to track FTE changes.
• Produce monthly productivity report for management.
• Ensure alignment between BILH MG’s provider compensation plan and strategic goals.
• Support regular base salary review and adjustment process.
• Primary contact for Senior Leaders and Service Line leaders on compensation program.
• Staff and manage agenda for Management Provider Compensation Committee.
• Develop staff and manage team through all provider compensation analytics.
• Manage payments of leadership allocations and other variable compensation.
• Develop guidelines and formulas for offsite provider payments or FMV related to provision of provider services to other entities.
• Be a resource to Human Resources colleagues as it relates to their management of advanced practitioner compensation plans.
