Job summary
Satsuma Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Director of Contracting and Pricing to lead pricing, contracting, and governance across our commercial portfolio.
You will establish pricing strategies, contract evaluation, and lifecycle management to support patient access and financial objectives. The role requires a strategic, collaborative leader with deep expertise in pharmaceutical contracting and pricing, engaging with senior management to shape policies and operational controls for launch
Qualifications
- Masters-level understanding of contracting and pricing within pharma/biotech.
- Proven ability to translate strategy into pricing and contracting actions.
- Strong negotiation and cross-functional leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of contracting strategies and pricing.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage payer, PBM, GPO, wholesaler, and distributor contracts.
- Partner with Market Access, Legal, Finance, Compliance, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment with strategy.
