Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan (LSS) seeks a Director of Program Services to lead large-scale programs across Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. This role oversees day-to-day operations, budgets, and strategic execution, while building strong relationships with purchasers and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) and at least five years in leadership roles with budgeting and program oversight in a nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred depending on program areas.
• Minimum 5 years of combined direct care/technical experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in budgeting, reporting, and program oversight within a nonprofit or public sector setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a dispersed team while upholding the organization's mission and values.
• Manage stakeholder relationships including government, congregations, communities, and partners.
• Develop and implement strategic and operating plans; report progress to senior leadership.
