Lutheran Social Services (LSS) seeks a visionary Director of Program Services to lead large-scale, multi-faceted programs across Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. The role oversees day-to-day operations, strategic planning, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement to advance the organization’s mission in a complex, mission-driven environment.

The incumbent will partner with executive leadership to deliver programs, manage resources, and build strong relationships with purchasers and community partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred depending on program area.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with at least 2 years in supervisory roles including budgeting.
• Experience in stakeholder relations and program management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of large program operations.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with governments, communities, and partners.
• Develop and implement strategic plans with the executive team.
• Monitor financial health and reporting; manage budgets and forecasts.
• Drive business development and expansion of programs.
• Oversee service delivery and operations to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Lead change management and talent development across teams.
• Ensure compliance with policies and reporting standards.
