ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks a Director to lead the Components, Piping and CAD organizations supporting Commercial Nuclear, New Nuclear, and Federal Nuclear programs.

This leadership role provides strategic direction and oversight of component engineering, piping design, and multidisciplinary CAD services to ensure successful execution of complex nuclear projects. The Director will manage managers and technical leaders, develop talent, and align resources with project priorities across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Nuclear or related engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive engineering/design experience, preferably in nuclear or regulated industries.
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing engineering/design organizations.
• Experience in component engineering, piping engineering, piping design, plant design/layout, CAD, or 3D modeling.
• Experience with workforce planning, recruiting, talent development, and organizational leadership.
• Ability to travel overnight as required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Components, Piping, and CAD organizations with long-range capability plans aligned with commercial nuclear markets.
• Develop managers and technical leaders; build a talent pipeline through recruiting, training, mentoring, career development, succession planning, and knowledge transfer.
• Drive performance across safety, quality, schedule, budget, productivity, and accountability; ensure effective execution of engineering and CAD activities.
• Forecast demand across three nuclear markets and develop staffing and capability plans for current and future projects.
• Ensure standards, processes, tools, and skills to deliver high-quality design products; champion 3D modeling and digital engineering practices.
• Collaborate with business leaders to align resources with project priorities and promote consistent execution across the organization.
