Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. seeks a Director of Components, Piping & CAD to lead the components, piping, and CAD teams supporting Commercial Nuclear, New Nuclear, and Federal Nuclear businesses.

This role sets strategy, oversees capacity, and ensures the organization has people, tools, processes, and technical capabilities for complex nuclear projects. The Director will manage leaders across dispersed teams, drive design excellence, and champion 3D modeling and digital engineering to meet program

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive engineering and/or design experience, preferably in nuclear/power/federal facilities.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience managing engineering, design, or multidisciplinary technical organizations.
• Experience in component engineering, piping engineering, piping design, plant design/layout, CAD, or 3D modeling.
• Willingness to travel overnight to support employees, projects, offices, and clients.
• PE license preferred.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and collaborating across engineering, project management, operations, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Components, Piping, and CAD organizations and establish priorities and long‑range capability plans.
• Lead and develop managers and technical leaders; build talent pipelines.
• Drive performance across safety, quality, schedule, budget, productivity, and accountability.
• Plan workforce and capacity to support current commitments and growth.
• Champion 3D modeling, digital engineering, standardization, and integrated design practices.
• Collaborate with business leaders and operations to align resources with project priorities.
