Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Director, Components, Piping & CAD to lead our component engineering, piping engineering/design, and CAD groups across Commercial Nuclear, New Nuclear, and Federal Nuclear projects.

The role requires 15+ years in engineering/design, 7+ years in leadership, and a PE license is preferred. You will drive safety, quality, and schedule performance while expanding capabilities and workforce across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Nuclear engineering
• PE license preferred
• 15+ years of progressive engineering and/or design experience, preferably in nuclear, power generation, federal facilities, or other highly regulated industries
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience managing engineering, design, or multidisciplinary technical organizations
• Experience in component engineering, piping engineering, piping design, plant design/layout, CAD, or 3D modeling
• Experience supporting multidisciplinary projects through conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design and/or modifications to operating facilities
• Strong understanding of engineering design processes, design control, quality requirements, and disciplined engineering practices

Responsibilities

• Lead the Components, Piping, and CAD organizations and set long-range capability plans aligned with the needs of our Commercial Nuclear, New Nuclear, and Federal Nuclear businesses
• Develop managers and technical leaders; build a talent pipeline through recruiting, training, mentoring, career development, succession planning, and knowledge transfer
• Drive performance focusing on safety, quality, schedule, budget, productivity, and accountability across the organization
• Plan workforce and capacity to support current commitments, future projects, and growth across three nuclear markets
• Advance 3D modeling, digital engineering, standardization, and integrated design practices
• Collaborate with business leaders, engineering, project management, and operations to align resources with project priorities
