Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Director of Logistic Operations in Minnesota to direct regional site activities and partner with site GMs. The role focuses on client relationships, value-added services, and long-range planning for efficiency and profitability. Frequent travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business management, logistics, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 8–10 years of supply chain management, business management or logistics experience.
• 3–5 years of logistic site leadership with budgetary experience.
• Lean Six Sigma and/or Supply Chain certification or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute the network vision and translate it to sites and employees.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships; own the customer relationship.
• Facilitate monthly and quarterly business reviews.
• Oversee day-to-day site performance against KPIs and improve metrics.
• Meet monthly with General Managers for operational visibility.
• Advance safety initiatives across the network.
• Maintain customer profiles; review issues, structure, opportunities, and contracts.
• Build business cases and present value solutions for customers.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and training to staff with L&D support.
• Lead implementation of new programs with cross-functional teams.
• Use Lean Six Sigma tools to improve efficiency, safety, quality, and financials.
• Regularly visit sites to maintain management presence.
