Texas A&M University, College Station, seeks an experienced Executive Director of Global Programs & Education Abroad to lead Education Abroad, Global Programs, Risk Management & Compliance. This senior role partners with leadership to advance internationalization and develop impactful programs.

Responsibilities include guiding faculty engagement, overseeing operations and special projects, and driving data-informed strategy with College/School leaders and international centers to expand global

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Ten years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, including at least five years in international higher education leadership.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex international programs and lead teams.
Strong planning, risk management, and program assessment skills.
Excellent communication and intercultural competencies.

Responsibilities

Serve as deputy to the Associate Vice President and member of Global Engagement leadership.
Guide development and implementation of innovative global programs aligned with institutional priorities.
Support strategic planning and measurable progress toward internationalization goals.
Direct and execute special projects to advance strategic priorities.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to expand funding opportunities and partnerships.
Promote intercultural programming for students, faculty, and staff.
