Job summary

Columbia Water seeks a senior leader to guide asset management and CIP strategy, ensuring sustainable long-term infrastructure planning. You will oversee master plans for treatment and conveyance, manage budgets, and drive high-level policy and performance standards across the utility.

Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance customer portals and service delivery while supporting regulatory and stakeholder requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7+ years in design, construction, management, or operation of water/wastewater systems.
• Professional Engineer in SC preferred.
• Valid South Carolina Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise Asset Management, CIP, and related groups; ensure compliance with laws, policies, and safety standards.
• Coordinate planning workshops with Columbia Water management team.
• Develop Columbia Water utility master plans for treatment and conveyance.
• Oversee development of short/long-range strategic goals and performance criteria.
• Lead and monitor customer service strategies and communication improvements.
• Collaborate with IT to enhance customer portals and utility-related technology.
