Job summary

Metro Water Recovery is seeking a Senior Asset Management Engineering Manager to lead the enterprise Asset Management Program. You will steer asset lifecycle planning, risk-based decision-making, and funding priorities across engineering, maintenance, finance, and IT teams.

You will shape asset management standards, governance, and data-driven decision support while mentoring staff and advancing Metro’s infrastructure strategy for long-term reliability.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• PE licensure in Colorado or ability to reciprocity for CO.
• Strong background in asset management and lifecycle planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Metro’s Asset Management Engineering Division.
• Lead development and maintenance of Asset Management Plans (AMPs).
• Oversee asset lifecycle strategies, renewal forecasting, and capital prioritization.
• Coordinate with IT and operations to improve EAM systems and decision-support tools.
• Mentor staff and build organizational capability in asset management.
• Represent the department in internal initiatives and external professional forums.
