Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Commodity Manager - Direct to lead sourcing strategy for direct materials and drive supplier negotiations across sites. The role emphasizes contract development and centralized spend leverage to improve cost, quality, and continuity.

The position supports enterprise-wide RFPs, supplier performance tracking, and escalation management with engineering, quality, and operations. Hybrid work options are available across U.S. locations, with EST hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive sourcing and purchasing experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support category strategy development and lead sourcing events, for direct materials.
• Manage supplier communications including performance reviews, pricing negotiations, and coordination with site teams on multi-site or critical escalations.
• Maintain direct supplier lists and track adherence to preferred or directed suppliers.
• Monitor supply market changes impacting material availability, cost, and risk.
• Support Pursuit wide escalations involving quality, delivery, or production continuity.
