Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a seasoned Commodity Manager - Direct to lead sourcing strategy and execution for direct materials, including enterprise-wide RFPs, supplier negotiations, and contract development across U.S. operations.

The role drives cross-site spend consolidation, partners with engineering, quality and operations, and oversees supplier performance to support cost, quality, and continuity objectives while ensuring ITAR/EAR compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive sourcing and purchasing experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future; ITAR/EAR compliance.
• Experience in aerospace direct materials sourcing or Gov't contracting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support category strategy development and lead sourcing events, for direct materials.
• Manage supplier communications including performance reviews, pricing negotiations, and coordination with site teams on multi-site or critical escalations.
• Maintain direct supplier lists and track adherence to preferred or directed suppliers.
• Monitor supply market changes impacting material availability, cost, and risk.
• Support Pursuit-wide escalations involving quality, delivery, or production continuity.
