Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Commodity Manager - Direct to oversee sourcing strategy and execution for direct material categories across sites. The role drives supplier negotiations and centralized agreements to maximize leverage and cost control.

You will partner with engineering, quality, and operations on supplier evaluations, while managing cross-site escalations and market risk to ensure continuity of supply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive sourcing and purchasing experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future; visa sponsorship not offered.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support category strategy development and lead sourcing events for direct materials.
• Manage supplier communications including performance reviews, pricing negotiations, and coordination with site teams on multi-site or critical escalations.
• Maintain direct supplier lists and track adherence to preferred or directed suppliers.
• Monitor supply market changes impacting material availability, cost, and risk.
• Support Pursuit-wide escalations involving quality, delivery, or production continuity.
