Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace, a global manufacturer of aircraft engine components, seeks a Commodity Manager - Direct hybrid-based in the U.S. The role drives sourcing strategy, enterprise-wide RFPs, supplier negotiations, and contract development to consolidate spend and strengthen supplier leverage.

You will collaborate with site teams and manage supplier performance to meet cost, quality, and continuity goals. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 7 years of sourcing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive sourcing and purchasing experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support category strategy development and lead sourcing events, for direct materials
• Manage supplier communications including performance reviews, pricing negotiations, and coordination with site teams on multi-site or critical escalations
• Maintain direct supplier lists and track adherence to preferred or directed suppliers
• Monitor supply market changes impacting material availability, cost, and risk
• Support Pursuit wide escalations involving quality, delivery, or production continuity
