Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Commodity Manager - Direct to lead sourcing strategy and execution for direct material categories. This role will drive enterprise-wide RFPs, supplier negotiations, and centralized contract development with a focus on cost, quality, and continuity across multiple sites.

The position may be hybrid from any U.S. location, with standard hours following Eastern Time. Strong negotiation, supplier management, and ITAR/EAR compliance knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive sourcing and purchasing experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support category strategy development and lead sourcing events for direct materials.
• Manage supplier communications including performance reviews, pricing negotiations, and coordination with site teams on multi-site or critical escalations.
• Maintain direct supplier lists and track adherence to preferred or directed suppliers.
• Monitor supply market changes impacting material availability, cost, and risk.
• Support Pursuit-wide escalations involving quality, delivery, or production continuity.
