Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace, a global manufacturer of complex aircraft engine components, seeks a Commodity Manager - Direct to lead direct material sourcing strategy and supplier negotiations. Hybrid work across U.S. locations with Eastern Time hours.

You will drive cross-site spend consolidation and manage supplier performance to sustain cost, quality, and continuity objectives. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of progressive sourcing experience, plus ITAR/EAR regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 7+ years progressive sourcing experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support category strategy development and lead sourcing events, for direct materials.
• Manage supplier communications including performance reviews, pricing negotiations, and coordination with site teams on multi-site or critical escalations.
• Maintain direct supplier lists and track adherence to preferred or directed suppliers.
• Monitor supply market changes impacting material availability, cost, and risk.
• Support Pursuit wide escalations involving quality, delivery, or production continuity.
