Job summary

Siemens Mobility is looking for a Direct Buyer/Planner for its Alliance, Texas facility to balance supply and demand and coordinate the different functions within the plant to meet customer orders on time in a cost-effective way.

You will develop detailed production plans, work with production and customer service to prioritize operations, and drive daily production meetings while seeking continuous improvement and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in production planning / supply chain roles in manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and balance supply and demand to develop detailed production plans.
• Plan and prioritize operations with production and customer service to meet customer requirements on time.
• Drive daily production meetings and coordinate cross-functional activities.
• Analyze large data sets to develop continuous improvement strategies.
• Review and optimize SAP material master/configurations to meet cost targets.
