Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Demand Planning Professional within the Supply Chain & Operations function to support forecasting, inventory optimization, supplier coordination, and performance analysis across our manufacturing and supply chain organizations.

You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and suppliers to analyze KPIs, identify opportunities for improvement, optimize inventory and material flow, and support data-driven business decisions throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Experience in supply chain planning, logistics, manufacturing operations, controlling, inventory management, or related environment.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting KPIs and translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience with forecasting, inventory planning, supplier coordination, and/or production planning.
• Understanding of manufacturing and logistics performance measures: cycle time, FPY, on-time delivery, productivity, inventory.
• Ability to perform cost, profitability, and business-case analyses.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous-improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with ERP, planning, reporting, and data-analysis tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completing regular forecasting and operational planning across production, inventory, capacity, and other KPIs.
• Analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on productivity, profitability, capital utilization, assets, and inventory.
• Identifying deviations from plans, evaluating impacts, and recommending corrective actions.
• Performing cost and profitability analyses for launches, relocations, and capacity decisions.
• Developing supplier forecasts and supporting logistics process optimization with suppliers.
• Establishing logistical requirements for material availability, delivery, and PLM-related activities.
• Planning and controlling inventories and stock levels; adjusting planning as needed.
• Analyzing and improving logistics and manufacturing processes using KPIs like cycle time and on-time delivery.
• Identifying root causes and driving continuous improvement in supply chain performance.
