Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Junior Buyer/Planner for its Alliance, Texas manufacturing facility. The role focuses on balancing supply and demand, coordinating production plans, and working with production teams to meet customer orders efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years in production planning, manufacturing engineering, master scheduling, resource planning or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and balance supply and demand to develop detailed production plans.
• Collaborate with production and customer service to prioritize operations for on-time delivery.
• Drive and coordinate daily production meetings to maintain schedule adherence.
• Analyze large data sets to find continuous improvement opportunities.
• Review and fix SAP material master data or configurations.
• Support delivery reliability, schedule adherence and cost-saving initiatives.
