Job summary

The Nature Conservancy in Arizona seeks an Associate Director of Development for Corporate & Foundation Relations to lead fundraising efforts with our donors and partners. You will manage corporate and foundation relationships, collaborate with a team of philanthropy and development professionals, and help craft strategies that advance conservation priorities.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with extensive fundraising experience, a track record of closing gifts at or above $50,000,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with fundraising constituents, particularly corporations and foundations.
• Experience developing fundraising proposals and budgets within established timelines.
• Experience in asking for and closing gifts of $50,000 or more.
• Experience in managing and tracking multiple prospects and donors.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, preferably in a large non-profit.
• Experience working with fundraising principles and practices.
• Experience working with databases, including managing and tracking data, and producing reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and coordinate multi-year fundraising strategies for corporations and foundations.
• Directly manage corporate and foundation relationships and support staff.
• Provide strategic advice to enhance the development program.
