Job summary

The Nature Conservancy in Arizona seeks an Associate Director of Development for Corporate & Foundation Relations to drive fundraising with corporations and foundations. You will plan multi-year strategies, manage key relationships, and guide staff to achieve conservation priorities. A track record in major gifts and cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years related experience or an equivalent combination.
Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with fundraising constituents, particularly corporations and foundations.
Experience developing fundraising proposals and budgets within established timelines.
Experience in asking for and closing gifts of $50,000 or more.
Experience in managing and tracking multiple prospects and donors.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, preferably in a large non-profit.
Experience working with fundraising principles and practices.
Experience working with databases, including managing and tracking data, and producing reports.

Responsibilities

Plan, implement, and coordinate multi-year strategies to generate support for conservation priorities from corporations and foundations.
Directly manage corporate and foundation relationships and support staff.
Provide strategic advice to enhance the development program.
