Job summary

Johns Hopkins University & Medicine - Development and Alumni Relations seeks a Sr. Associate Director Development Strategy to partner with KSAS leadership in crafting donor-facing materials and driving major gift strategy.

Responsibilities include shaping content for proposals, coordinating with DAR and KSAS teams, and translating priorities into compelling materials to inspire investment and strengthen donor relationships. This role targets transformational programs and high-impact campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three years of related experience, including one year in a similar role.
• Equivalency may substitute for education or experience per JHU policy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership, departments and chairs to identify funding priorities for donor materials.
• Write and design personalized proposals and case statement pieces for donors.
• Translate priorities into clear content for donors, alumni and external constituents.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary principal gift strategy with DAR leadership.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Communications to ensure branding and messaging across materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
