Job summary

Star Endodontic Team in Boise, ID is looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist + Patient Care Coordinator to join our practice. This full-time role combines billing with front-desk patient care to ensure smooth financial and clinical workflows.

You will verify insurance, process claims, collect co-insurance, schedule exams, and coordinate records while upholding HIPAA and office policies. High school diploma required; two years in dental admin preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with dental software.
• Knowledge of dental insurance plans, claims processing, EOBs, and CDT coding.
• Minimum of two (2) years of dental Patient Care Coordinator or administrative experience is required.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments; coordinate transfers with referring practices.
• Verify and process patients’ dental insurance; submit and monitor claims.
• Review treatment plans, insurance, and out-of-pocket costs with patients.
• Collect co-insurance at time of service and post-service when necessary.
• Enter patient information into practice management software accurately.
• Coordinate appointments and dental record transfers with referring practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception and waiting area.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and doctors to ensure seamless patient care.
• Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility as needed.
• Post insurance payments and patient payments accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and office policies.
