Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Lead Demand Planner to own forecasting activities for customers and products. You will develop statistical models, collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and retailers, and drive the demand portion of the S&OP process.

You will also work with Supply Planning to ensure timely decisions. The role requires leading others, deep forecasting expertise, and strong communication skills to align cross-functional teams on forecast accuracy and inventory planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Economics, Mathematics, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business or related technical field.
• 7–9 years directly related experience with focus on demand planning.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for presentations to all levels of customer and management.

Responsibilities

• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
• Interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to develop a consensus and forecast event drivers across categories and customers.
• Develop complete analysis/timeline related to demand for new product launches.
• Develop aggregate level forecast to align cross-functional planning across the business unit.
• Use and maintain Oracle as the primary forecasting system tool.
• Maintain metrics/scorecards on KPI’s, including forecast accuracy, fill rate, inventory turns, and excess & obsolete inventory.
• Manage a team of demand planners.
• Other duties/projects as assigned.
