Job summary

H. T. PROF Group seeks a Demand Manager to develop and manage demand forecasting and planning across product lines, customers, and regions. You will lead the S&OP/IBP process, align stakeholders, and drive forecast accuracy and inventory optimization.

You will analyze historical data, market trends, and promotions to provide actionable insights for leadership, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to deliver a single, approved demand plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 5+ years in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain planning.
• Experience leading or contributing to S&OP/IBP processes.
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasts across product lines and regions.
• Lead the demand-planning component of S&OP/IBP processes with cross-functional alignment.
• Analyze historical sales, market trends, seasonality, and promotions affecting demand.
• Partner with sales, marketing, finance, operations, and supply planning for one approved demand plan.
• Monitor forecast performance using metrics like forecast accuracy, MAPE, and bias.
• Identify root causes of variances and implement corrective actions.
• Support inventory strategies with demand-based recommendations for safety stock and service levels.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to shortages and demand volatility.
• Develop demand plans for new products, transitions, and changes.
• Quantify demand risks and opportunities, and communicate recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with supply planning to balance demand with capacity and lead times.
• Drive continuous improvement in demand-planning processes and data quality.
• Apply advanced analytics, automation, and AI/ML forecasting when appropriate.
• Prepare and present demand reviews, KPI dashboards, and executive summaries.
• Establish demand-planning policies and best practices for scalable processes.
