Job summary

Topcon Positioning Group is seeking a data-driven Demand Planner to manage and optimize product forecasting within an ERP/advanced planning environment. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to develop consensus demand plans and improve forecast accuracy.

Strong S&OP experience and analytical capabilities are essential. Responsibilities include maintaining baselines, analyzing trends, and supporting monthly S&OP through cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience participating in a formal Sales & Operations Planning process.
• Strong forecasting, forecast accuracy, and inventory planning expertise.
• Proven ability to develop consensus demand plans with cross-functional partners.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop baseline forecasts using historical data, market trends, and BI insights.
• Analyze demand patterns, seasonality, promotions, lifecycle changes, and other factors.
• Support forecasting and scenario planning in SAP IBP or comparable systems.
• Communicate risks, opportunities and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Lead monthly S&OP cycles with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.
