Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a commercially-minded Demand Planner to orchestrate supply-and-demand processes across Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain. You will manage forecasts, leverage demand-sensing, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure product availability.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field and 3+ years in demand planning within consumer goods or manufacturing, with on-site work at the Piscataway, NJ location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Finance, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Demand Planning within the Consumer Goods or Manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities

• Craft and maintain a detailed, rolling 0-24 month demand plan that captures market trends and long-term goals.
• Keep statistical forecasting models razor-sharp; run exception reviews and cleanse historical data.
• Partner with Customer Development, Brand Marketing, and Fulfillment Planning to turn market intelligence into forecasts.
• Lead the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to land a single, high-conviction demand plan.
• Establish initial forecasts for New Product Innovations (NPIs) and manage sunsetting/SKU rollouts.
• Use advanced demand-sensing to catch short-term shifts and trends.
• Drive forecast accuracy and analyze root causes of variances.

Education
