Job summary

BIC World, a global household brand, seeks a Senior Manager of Demand Planning in the Norwalk, CT area. You will lead the end-to-end demand planning process for a multi-category U.S.

business (~$1B), translating market dynamics into actionable demand plans across horizons and driving IBP/SOP maturity. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to improve forecast accuracy, manage risk, and elevate planning capabilities, while building a high-performing team in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• APICS/ASCM certification or equivalent supply chain certification preferred.
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Forecasting, IBP/SOP.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end monthly demand planning process across all U.S. categories.
• Own the demand plan across multiple planning horizons: near-term, 0-24 months, AOP, LE, and LRP.
• Establish and continuously improve demand planning methodologies using forecasting, market intel, and scenario planning.
• Drive improvements in forecast accuracy, bias, value add, and overall demand plan quality.
• Lead IBP/SOP governance and executive planning materials preparation.
• Ensure a clear view of most likely business outcomes with upside/downside considerations.
• Identify opportunities to simplify planning processes and speed decision-making.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to align demand with business goals.
