Accounting Search is seeking a capable Supply Chain Demand Manager to develop and optimize demand forecasting across product lines, regions, and channels. You will lead S&OP/IBP processes, improve forecast accuracy, and work with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Planning to align demand with supply and inventory strategy.

Responsibilities include analyzing historical demand, identifying risks, and presenting insights to senior leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Statistics, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressive experience in demand planning, forecasting, or related discipline.
• Experience leading or contributing to S&OP/IBP processes.
• Ability to improve forecast accuracy and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience with ERP/MRP environments and planning systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting/visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, safety stock, and capacity planning.
• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with senior-leadership presenting ability.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Develop and improve demand forecasts across product lines, channels, and regions.
• Lead the demand-planning component of S&OP/IBP with cross-functional alignment.
• Analyze historical sales, demand, trends, seasonality, and promotions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Planning.
• Monitor forecast performance using KPI metrics (MAPE, bias, accuracy).
• Identify root causes of variances and implement corrective actions.
• Support inventory strategies with demand-based recommendations.
• Develop demand plans for new products, transitions, and changes.
• Develop planning scenarios and communicate recommendations to leadership.
• Balance demand with production capacity and material availability.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and data quality.
• Apply advanced analytics, automation, and AI/ML forecasting where appropriate.
• Prepare and present demand reviews, dashboards, and executive summaries.
• Establish scalable demand-planning policies and best practices.
