Job summary

Reliance Worldwide is seeking a Demand Planner to manage forecast models and collaborate with Sales and Supply Chain in a robust S&OP environment. The role covers thousands of products across multiple channels, requiring strong statistical modeling and communication skills.

You will analyze trends, develop short- and long-term forecasts, monitor accuracy, and contribute to process improvements using SAP IBP and ERP systems. This on-site position is based in Atlanta, GA, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years in demand planning/sales forecasting.
• Experience with statistical modeling.
• Experience collaborating across business units and S&OP process.
• Advanced mathematical and statistical expertise.
• Strong analytical, project management, and time management skills.
• Proficiency with SAP IBP, ERP, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales trends and model the data to forecast future demand.
• Monitor actual demand vs. forecast to identify shortages/overages and actions to prevent service failures and excess inventory.
• Prepare for and participate in monthly S&OP processes.
• Work with Sales to develop short- and long-term demand forecasts.
• Execute strategies to improve forecast accuracy and service levels.
• Prepare metrics to monitor demand planning performance and drive improvements.
• Optimize the SAP IBP demand planning tool.
• Participate in monthly capacity evaluations with the supply planning team.
• Contribute to efficiency through root-cause analysis and short-term solutions.
• Communicate forecast requirements across departments (Sales, Finance, Supply Planning, Materials Planning, Product Management, Engineering).
• Participate in other business processes as needed.
