Job summary

CAKES Body is seeking a Demand Planning Lead to own the rolling demand plan across DTC, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and wholesale. You will translate revenue targets into SKU-level buy plans and partner with Finance to ensure alignment between financial and operational forecasts.

You will drive IBP processes, manage supplier and inventory risk, and collaborate with Product, Ops, and Finance to scale the business across new retailers and channels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in demand planning, inventory/buy planning, or supply chain analytics, ideally spanning DTC, Amazon, and wholesale channels in consumer goods.
• You build the process, then run it, and are comfortable owning ambiguity at a lean, fast-moving company.
• Strong commercial instincts: you couple forecasting rigor with an understanding of margin, working capital, and growth tradeoffs.
• Hands-on experience with Open-to-Buy planning and channel allocation, not just forecasting.
• Experience with retailer EDI processes (POs, ASNs, invoicing) and CPFR collaboration with major retail partners.

Responsibilities

• Own the single rolling demand plan for the business, units and dollars, at item and channel level across DTC, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and wholesale.
• Partner with Finance to translate revenue and margin targets into a unit plan by SKU and channel.
• Maintain rolling demand plans to support IBP and financial planning cycles.
• Run CPFR and build relationships with retail and marketplace partners to keep forecasts aligned.
• Provide data-driven insights on forecast accuracy and risk to surface trends early.
• Lead root cause analysis on forecast variance and supply disruptions and implement corrective actions.
